Architecture nominee

The series "Cretan Staircase" features a typical concrete staircase which you can find all over the greek island. This one in particular was part of a half-built house. The ground floor apartment was already occupied while the upper floors were still under construction. The massive, high-contrast architecture inspired me to this series. By looking at the details the staircase appeared as a perfect model for studying light, lines and forms - and for playing with perspective.
