Cityscape nominee

This photo is also taken in Limassol, Cyprus during a local regatta. I was on the sailing boat racing when we passed very near to a huge vessel. I was impressed when I realized that the vessel appeared to be huge compared to the highest building of my hometown which is currently under construction. For me it also captures love , tons of love for a beloved person.

Coming from a different professional background, I am a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with broad experience in audit for some of Deloitte’s multinational clients in Shipping, Trading and Finance, and I am an amateur photographer.
I like to capture the moments as seen through my eyes. The ability of photography to connect us to our past, to connect us with an event and to preserve memories without words or interpretation makes it an influential hobby.
I had my first private photo exhibition entitled “imark my blues” in Dec 2014 in the 6x6 Centre for Photography in Limassol, Cyprus and these days I am preparing my portfolio for the second one. You can find me on Instagram as “imarkidou”.
