“Addiction” is a metaphorical project that tries to show that there is something more than just typical types of addictions to which we are accustomed and which are presented by contemporary mass media. Not only drugs, cigarettes or alcohol can be an object of mentioned brain disorder. Modern psychology treats the term "addiction" wide and assumes that it includes all activities over the execution of which a person has lost control. It is extremely important to express that this definition has meaning not only on theoretical level. Discussion on that issue is extremely significant because of fact, the more we debate on it, the bigger chance occur that someone will have a chance to identify a threat in relation to himself and it truly does not matter whether it is sugar, coffee, gambling, sex, medicine, food or anything else as long as it has negative influence on someone's body or mind.

Mikołaj Świcarz was born in 1989. He lives and works as a lawyer in Wrocław (Poland) but his true passion is creating art especially through travel, product and street photography. He works also under FLOW SHOTS alias. An autodidact full of creative ideas.
