Parties are the theatre of my most intimate moments. I love those celebrations where, together, we forget inhibition and celebrate love in all its forms in an unapologetic hedonism.
My fascination for this side of human interaction, as well as my difficulty to clearly remember my own experience on this matter, pushed me to document the festivities in which I participated.
The trans-temporal double exposures play with the chronological factor of my memory through a surrealistic exercise. The blurs are there to emulate the spontaneity, recklessness and occasionnal psychedelism of these moments.
Through this photographic personnal diary, I’ve learned that the way we celebrate can say a lot about our problems and sorrows.

What is called the "tacit truth covenant" (the implicit trust given to journalists and informators that they aren't lying) in journalism is currently at risk.
In this era of doubt, I exploit what we could qualifiy as a "tacit ambiguity covenant". While preserving the documentary nature of photography, I strive to interpret them visually in a way that's openly personal and expressionist.
It's important for me that people are informed about the subjects I photograph. Though it is even more inportant that people know this is only my point of view.
