Safe Zone
I explore the impact of a traumatic experience by photographing symbolic objects to represent the long-term affects. I then slice two or more, related images into thin strips, put them back to their original order, and weave them together. The repetitive process of going over and under, up and down, provokes reflection, improved perspective and clarity, to where healing begins.
