This year I decided to keep photographing, even when I didn't wanted to go out, experiencing a robbery close to you house ain't easy, but I guess my desire to create was bigger. Wanting to merge the feeling of being in the forest creating portraiture turned into incorporating that element in a safer place... my bedroom. Now, I've come up with a series of images that mix plants and people, I called it "Botánica"

I'm a 31 years old Biotechnologist from Panama, a self-taught photographer that creates conceptual and surreal portraiture based on melancholy, isolation within nature and abandoned spaces. I find photography to be a therapeutic process and it has become a lifetime discovery, the concept of my photographs must feel and worth living it, the process of creating goes beyond the importance of the pixels, but their significance and potential of the idea to move minds.
