Escape (Series)
DESCRIPTION
The 6x6 used in my youth gave me a taste for the square format very demanding and far enough from the natural vision. Today I live in Moscow and the immensity of this part of the world speak to me. From the square format, I extracted the circle that eliminates angles and creepage to let us inside the image, as in a bubble, in a world apart. This is the ideal condition for the escape, the subject of this series.
AUTHOR
I have been passionate about creation since I was a teenager and photography is one of my favorite arts. I lived in Moscow for 4 years without a job and photography became my first activity. I have exhibited several times in Moscow and Paris, every year since 2016. Back in France, photography has remained a very important activity for me. Whether I photograph in town or in nature, the emotion brought by the subject, the colors, the composition is essential. Secondly, each photo is reprocessed on a computer to extract what is most extraordinary. What I see and feel sometimes requires the simultaneous use of black and white and color to be expressed. The insertion of geometric shapes allows me to appropriate the image and claim it as a creation without changing the reality that I am reproducing.
