Elemental Island (Series)
DESCRIPTION
The Isle of Skye is the largest island in the Scottish Inner Hebrides, and provides some of the most breathe-taking landscapes one can possibly see in Europe. It is a place where the land, with its rocks, mountains, escarpments and peatlands, becomes one thing with the ever-changing yet often wet weather conditions. It is not uncommon to witness low clouds touch the dark, gabbro peaks of the island’s relatively small mountains, as if the sky were constantly trying to reach the earth. Rain is often the intermediary of such interaction, and the result is the presence of countless little water streams and torrential rivers that flow down from mountains and hills, relentlessly shaping the scenery over the course of millennia. They are there to testify the never-ending cycles of nature. And to glorify the primordial beauty of the island.
