Landscape nominee

Getting lost along your path is a part of finding the path you are meant to be on.

SWEDISH MOUNTAINS is the name of my new series which I invite you to take a look and travel with me through the unique landscapes that northern Sweden has to offer.

I walked with backpack and my tent during one week through northern Sweden, known for rough and difficult weather conditions.

The hard conditions allowed me to capture nature in a way which we are not used to see and feel.

Welcome to my little world of black and white fine art photography. I'm a wildlife and nature photographer living in the unique and small country of Luxembourg and specialize in black and white photography. I hope being able to transmit you through my photography the vision I have when I visit different places in this amazing world that we all live in but oftentimes forget to contemplate. My choice for black and white photography came very early and is certainly most influenced by photographers that I admire and follow. Photographers as Laurent Baheux, Nick Brandt, Michael Kenna, Sebastiao Salgado remind me every day that the world of photography is unlimited. I'm a Nikon shooter but use also different manufacturers lenses in order to achieve the images I have in my head. All my images are processed in Lightroom. Photoshop is rarely used for the simple reason that I want to keep away from cloning and retouching the images in a way that doesn't correspond to reality.
