To be honest: this fly was annoying me. It was a summer day and somehow he came into my living room en kept flying around my head. Suddenly it sat down on the window and that's when I saw the advantage of it.
I've grabbed my camera with a old Nikon 50mm lens, wide open diafragma, and took a shot. The colours you see are from the flowers in my garden.
So, no..not a shot I've been planning. Just a moment of fame for this beautiful Robberfly! :-)
