Night Photography 3rd place winner

As like shooting the nightscape photo the panoramic technique helps people see the world as it impossible to see with eyes. And this series of photos depicts astrolandscapes in the technique of spherical panorama and stacking focus. These images were taken on the Crimean Peninsula in July, 2016. Crimea is located in the north of the Black Sea and in July when the center of the Milky Way galaxy is located in the south you can watch the wonderful night sky above the rocky landscapes and sea. A series contains photos what taken in the villages of Noviy Svet, Lychistoe, and also on the south slope of the mountain Demerdzhi.

P.S. "Last years the theme of the Crimea is tense. People's reaction and the media diverge on some issues. For me as a citizen of the Russian Federation is very difficult in any way to comment the negative reaction related with Crimea, including my photos that I shot on the peninsula. I should like to point out that my interests are only creative, and I don't want to stir up anger and misunderstanding. I hope that I can bring viewers positive emotions and inspiration. My name is Evgeny Zaitsev. I'm a photographer, an artist from Russia. I was always attracted by a combination of modern technology and the visual art. That's why I began to engage in digital photography, especially astrolandscape. To me, astrophotography is a special type of photography. It's a combination of art, science, and modern technologies, all this reflects the spirit of the XXI century. Despite the fact that night photography has long been practiced, photographer’s abilities and technical skills are still being strained to the limit. The bad thing is that we cannot see very well in the dark, and another one is that camera capabilities are limited. But we know the night is not full of monsters and horrors, it’s beautiful. And I try to convey all beauty of the night landscape in my photos.
