The National Yasuni park is the one with the largest biodiversity range on earth. In the heart of this natural reserve we can find two native poblations: Huaronis and Kichwas. In spite of colonization, those people still preserve its ancestral habits and knowledge. Llanchama's Kichwa community do still have belief that some trees and animals have a spirit which they can interact as long as they have the knowledge and respect for them. Among wich, mostly, shaman and medicine man, use this wisdom to cure people.

I was born in Almería, Spain, in 1986. When I finished my studies on Sociology and Social Work I began to get interest on photography as a mean to transmit senses and emotions. From then on, photography is always present on my researches. It helps me to catch social dynamic and cultural impact that hegemonic development model has over society. This is the first work I submit in a competition.
