Maramures People (Series)
DESCRIPTION
The county of Maramureș, situated in the northern part of Romania. Maramureș is known for it’s small scaled agricultural character.
The people have preserved to an unique extent the rural culture. The families have their own piece of land, a homestead and a few animals.Old traditions have remained alive due to the high mountains sheltering the long depression from all sides.

I work as a designing engineer in Dresden and as kind of a balance to my work I am amateur photographer. The means to express myself is the black-and-white photography. My preferred fields are Still lifes, street photographie and travel reports. Preferred design medium is light and shade.
