Photomanipulation nominee

The idea for 'Toys Are Us' was that the toys had come to life and had taken over London, as if the city had become a giant playground for these toys. The toys have become greatly exaggerated in their size, with there being little to no humans left. The toys stand out greatly due to the contrast in environment, making the images appear both humorous and engaging to the viewer. It also confuses the due to the realistic nature of the images making them seem totally believable even though they are highly unconventional leaving the viewer and their imagination to interpret the images in their own way.
