A series of "Will to live"
Will to live.
These beautiful women on the portraits... It seems they sat down for a minute to pose for me... But they are not like anyone else, they are wheelchair disables. Each one of them has its own story - how it happened, that she is immobilized. But life must not stop, it must continue: not just an existence, but full live, as close as possible to all members of society. Unfortunately, in Russia streets, buildings and transport are almost not adapted for independent movement of disabled people in wheelchairs. Without extra help, they simply can't walk down the stairs out of the entrance, not to mention public transport. Having lost the ability to walk they're forced to sit at home and watch from the window.
