Seascape nominee

This series is about the silent growth of Landes oysters, the metamorphosis from being a sweet little larvae to a big strong oyster. The water flow and the constant movement of algae, is what makes oysters grow. The oyster farmers (those strong sea workers) build all the rows of “oyster flats” so wise positioned to maximize their exposure to the tidal flow that comes up into the bay everyday. This wonderful phenomenon is called: "The merroir".
