Photo was taken at Ocean Beach, San Francisco, California. Everyday surfers would come before and after daily work, challenging themselves against forces of nature. The tenacity and learning to find balance between man and nature is the theme of surfers' everyday life.

Based in San Francisco, California, Annie Tsai is an new upcoming photographer. Photography allowed Annie to stop, observe, feel the environment, and tell stories from her heart. Annie believes and wants to show humanistic moments and features in her photography. Her recent works are mostly focused on nature, as she wants to show the mood and personalities of trees and ocean side.
