Seascape nominee

Crosby Beach in late autumn, on a bitterly cold and windy day. The wide open sands were pounded by an icy sea as wind whipped tears from my eyes and stung sand at my face and hands. The loosely scattered figures of Antony Gormley’s ‘Another Place‘, with their stares frozen to the far horizon, braved the elements; this figure resolutely awaiting the icy embrace of the incoming tide.

A self professed ‘eclectic photographer’ I do not limit myself to one particular genre or style although my preference is for black and white photography, focussing on the elemental and simplicity of form.

I have reached the final stages of a number of major photography competitions which has seen my work published and exhibited, as well as general publication in B+W Photography, the Sunday Telegraph, BBC Wildlife Magazine and QWeekend (The Courier Mail, Queensland).
