Seascape nominee

The beach at Sango Bay is one of the most northerly beaches in mainland Scotland and was one of many I visited during a week's trip in November 2016.
Conditions at this time of the year can be varied with sun, snow, high winds, rain and anything in between but on occasions the light can be perfect, giving the opportunities to capture the short of image that had been wished for at the out-set of such a trip.
On this particular morning it was cold and windy and showing promise but then, for a short while, the early low sun cast an orange glow over the whole scene.
I had already taken up a position I wanted to photograph from and was able to take advantage of the conditions before they passed over.
