Street Photography 1st place winner

The series is the result of my fascination with minimalism, symbolism, as well as the geometry of urban spaces. It shows candid moments that I found while walking the streets and exploring rooftop vantages in my home country of Poland and my country of residence, Malaysia. Each time I tried to isolate a fragment of a natural scene and extract geometrical forms from that fragment in order to deprive the scene in front of me of its inherent context and give it an entirely new meaning.

I am a self-taught Polish photographer currently living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My photography is the result of my fascination with minimalism, symbolism, as well as the geometry of urban spaces. I best enjoy capturing those truly candid moments found while walking the streets and exploring rooftop vantages amidst my travels. My works have been exhibited in numerous fine art photography galleries in Greece (Athens), Poland (Kielce) and the USA (including Fort Collins, Portland and Los Angeles).
