Anatomy of endurance (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Conditions of life for many people in Asia are really hard: some people are forced to beg for a living, others work illegally in poor condition for living. The amount of homeless people living in Nepal and India is impressive. In these photographs are shown a blind man begging to survive, a lady who sells flowers on the street, a barber who cuts his beard street and much more in a trip to the ability of human beings to cope difficulties. This photo series was titled "Anatomy of endurance" to show the resilience effort done by many people to stay alive. This photography project is a mirror which reflects the dismay of a European citizen eyes to a world of similar but also different.
AUTHOR
I was born in teramo, a small town in central Italy. My first encounter with photography was when I was 13 with a camera olympus om-1 of my father, who still jealously guards home. I started to travel outside Europe to discover Asia who fascinated me from adolescence. In 2014 with the money saved from the salary of my work, I bought a full frame camera and I traveled in Asia for 4 months. A year later the same thing happened ...
