The force behind the thrust of the Eagle's downward stroke is nearly palpable in this image! Poised for lift off, this image was captured a moment before the mighty down-thrust and flap of the wings necessary for flight. Truly a sight to behold, and affirming of why these birds are often associated with power. Quite majestic indeed.
