Wild Intimacy (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Spending a year in the Falkland Islands, one is fortunate to discover that intimate moments with nature are inevitable. These moments can be interactions, or simply the chance to observe these individuals interact with each other. At the right time of year, gentoo penguins waddle up to you, elephant seals nap without noticing your approach, black-browed albatross care for their young and converse among themselves, and king penguins pass you by with their powerful gait. This wild intimacy is unforgettable.
AUTHOR
I am a conservation biologist who loves nature, travel, languages, people and photography. Photography is my newest hobby, which began 4 years ago in Hong Kong. It's helped me to stop and observe my surroundings more than ever before, and appreciate the moments that will never repeat themselves again.
