The Zebras, Wildebeest Stare, and Giraffe were taken in Namibia. The Elephant with Giraffe at the watering hole and Lioness yawning were in Botswana.
These were all taken during a road trip last year when friends and I drove and camped our way through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Lesotho, Swaziland, and finished in Mozambique. Observing and photographing wildlife in Africa was one of the most beautiful, peaceful and thrilling experiences of my life. Camping under the stars while falling asleep to a symphony of the wild, the roar of lions with songs of hippo grunts and laughing hyenas. It was unforgettable.

As far as I can remember I have always had a staring problem or I'm observant (a nice way to put it) and this fact is probably what drew me to photography in the first place.
I was born and raised in southern California, although I have spent most of the last few years being a vagabond backpacker exploring over 40 countries. Favorites being Nepal, Mexico, Afghanistan, and China.
At some point I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Art Photography from California State University of Long Beach.
