The Tree House (Single)
DESCRIPTION
The Tree House is an experimental villa built in 1971 by Architect Giuseppe Perugini (Buenos Aires, 1914 – Rome, 1995). The villa is situated on the Latium coast, near Rome. This brutalist architecture, made of concrete, steel and glass, refuses traditional forms and materials. The Tree House mimethizes with the surrounding nature and has been defined as a "human nest". The villa, as it's form shows, is one of the first buildings designed using CAD (Computer Aided Design). The desaturated feel I gave to the image is wanted to show the mimesis of the building with the surrounding trees is actually well achieved. Besides personal taste, the Tree House is one of the italian brutalist masterpieces.
