“Dreamers are not content with being mediocre.” Rick Pittino
Living in the small town like New Haven, Connecticut, your surroundings aren't the greatest and being a state that lacks having an original style its easy for someone from here to get swallowed in and stuck at a standstill or better yet copying. Growing up I was always taught by my father to go above and beyond and to think outside the box. To me, these images represent going above normal boundaries, peoples limitations and expectations. The photos of her laying on the cracked uneven basketball court resemble the struggle, pain, and discouraging surroundings of a beautiful soul. The Photos of her sitting on the rusted rim resembles living above the projections of what people expect of you because of where you live, your surroundings, and overall appearance.
