"Gradually it was disclosed to me that the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either -- but right through every human heart -- and through all human hearts." - Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago
A black-and-white long exposure photo of an office building in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The original capture is a 100-second exposure captured on a partially cloudy day before sunset using a 10-stop Neutral Density (ND) filter. The final result is basically a combination of 4 B&W versions (3 for the building and 1 for the sky) of the original capture. For the lighting pattern and B&W treatment of this particular photo, I tried to draw inspiration from Joel Tjintjelaar's "Shape of Light" photograph of the Zadkine Building in Rotterdam.
