Lines of Shadow (Series)
DESCRIPTION
One of the most important artistic movements in history, born in the early XXth century, Constructivism defended a geometric and abstract aesthetic, free from representations.
The “Lines of Shadow” series proposes a dialogue with this important artistic movement. Geometric, abstract, almost two-dimensional, its images are formed by the drawing of light in ordinary buildings in Brasilia, an icon of the modernist concepts.
AUTHOR
José Roberto Bassul is an architect and photographer. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he lives in Brasilia, Brazil. His favorite subjects are architecture, cityscapes and contemporary aspects of urban life. He acts as an authorial photographer. His works have been exhibited in art galleries and are held in private and public collections.
