This body of work is a continuous project aiming to explore the idea of process through the use of analogue photography and traditional printing methods. Through this exploration the work aims to consider the how important the final piece of work is, in comparison to the research and experimentation that leads up to it.
By using traditional printing methods, over digital prints, the work considers the sustainability of the image, mirrored through its secondary concept of looking at environmental sustainability. Beneath the exploration of process, this work has a strong connection to our natural surroundings and begins to consider environmental philosophies and the spiritual interaction with our own planet.
