Play of Light is a fine art, architectural photography series focusing on the abstract and geometric shapes of Berlin´s contemporary architecture. The goal of the series is to showcase the beauty of Europe´s second largest city from a different perspective, achieved by omitting the landmarks and searching for grace, elegance, and splendour in residential, commercial and governmental buildings. These are normally looked at once, if not completely overlooked.
The series has a strong meaning for the author, aiming to make his audience more aware of the beauty in everyday life. Play of Light, with its strong contrasts and chiseled shapes, is a discovery of Berlin´s hidden architectural beauty.
