Silent Power (Single)
DESCRIPTION
We have nuclear power in Pennsylvania. The power these stations emit starkly contrasts with their silence. I found this white house nestled in the woods near the power station and was struck by the contrast of black and white tones but also the power to take to potentially destroy lives and the power of the home to provide life.
AUTHOR
My name is John Guillaume. I live in Wayne, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. I am a tech geek by trade and an avid photographer during my spare time. My photographic journey has been going on for nearly 15 years, but in the last 5 I have refined my skills and have developed a style.
The majority of my images are minimal landscapes providing for clean, uncluttered viewing. I try to offer the viewer something they would not see, otherwise.
That feeling of being outdoors...the calm, the quiet, the air, the sounds: This is what gives me energy. I take it all in whether I'm stepping out of my house or out on a trail. Nature and my surroundings inspire me.
