3 months ago, my son was born.
We had been in hospital for almost 40 hours, but the little boy didn't want to meet us already. That day around 2 pm, my wife told me to take a break, she would be fine. I picked up my Nikon and drove into the Sellrain Valley, which bears some of the most fascinating summits in Tyrol... I knew the valley would be almost completely dark at that time of the day, but hoped to catch some of the last light.
And then I suddenly witnessed those mesmerizing last rays of light illuminating the valley. I stopped my car, jumped off, took some 4-5 captures, and .... the light was gone.
My phone rang, and my wife told me the contractions had begun 4-5 minutes before ... a few hours later our little sunshine was born.
