Remainders (Series)
DESCRIPTION
A study of the somewhat surrealistic winter landscape of the Haute Fagnes, Belgium. The trees depicted are the remainders of a large fire that burned down about 1000 hectares of forest and heather in 2011.
AUTHOR
Amateur photographer from the Netherlands with a passion for nature and architecture. Nature offers me an escape from the busy city and the often fake and contradictory ways of society. I have a predilection for minimal photography, and in my work I mostly try to capture the perfection, serenity, silence and/or profundity in a landscape.
