Dune Ridge at Wedge (Single)
DESCRIPTION
The towering sand dunes of Wedge (a tiny seaside community on Western Australia's 'Outback Coast') are snow white, stretching for miles along the sun-baked shore. When the sun is high in the sky, they are almost too dazzling to photograph, but in the blue hour, once the sun has sunk into the Indian Ocean, they reflect the soft hues of the sky. I was captivated by the changing colours and lines of the dunes in the disappearing light, so much so that I wandered up and down them for hours, taking photographs long into the night.
