Secrets and Myths (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Maidens go into the woods to hear the messages the mushrooms hold. The consciousness of the living fungi contains the spirits of gnomes of the forest and the vibrations of the surrounding plants and trees that all communicate through their root systems. Old German folklore says that when the maidens bring offerings of nuts and berries, the mushrooms release the messages that guide their living in the forest. The messages are hear best when the mushrooms are free from debris, so you will often see a maiden clean the mushrooms before the offering is made. The maidens go to their plot and make the offering. This is when the whispers of voices will release and swirl around the young women. Young children can often feel the vibraions without an offering until they loose the ability.
