Chienbäse is a Fasnacht tradition of Liestal, Basel-Landschaft in Switzerland synonymous of the expulsion of the winter and one of the most spectacular events in the country. The night before the Morgestraich in Basel city, a parade begins with people carrying burning bundles of pinewood chips (also called Chienbäse) entering the town center through the city south gate of Liestal.

I stepped into the world of photography in 2007. Since then it has been a way to communicate and fulfill my need for creativity. It change the way I am seeing the world. It made me want to travel more, seek special moment with the people around me and appreciate every single moment with them.
