Pictures were taken in the Summer Garden (St.Petersburg, Russia) after its reconstruction. All statues — ancient gods and heroes, that were standing there for years, had been replaced with newly made copies. Some people say, that the very spirit of this place is lost after that.
I explored the «life» of newcomers. They inherited faces and bodies of the old inhabitants, but what are their souls? Are they beautiful? Are they evil? Is it real that they could totally change the atmosphere of this place, and it’s no longer the place that we loved and knew very well? For me they are like actors. When you meet them, you have to guess what are their roles in the eternal play.
