This tower is located in the Pyrennees, in a place with one of the best night skies of the Iberian Peninsula. It was built during the XII century, during the wars between muslim and christian kingdoms.
In the summer view, the night was very dark, and a green airglow appeared in the sky. In the winter image, taken after an abundant snowfall, the Zodiacal Ligth was very conspicuous, a good indicator of the quality of these night skies.
