She´s collecting plastic to get some money. The plastic is seperated in good and bad. For the good plastic wich gets reused, she can earn a few cents to buy food.
The plastic situation in Indonesia is tremendous. It´s everywhere. The ocean is full of it and there is no waste management in Indonesia.
And people told me that at school they teach the children just to throw the plastic into nature.
