I chase the mornings where I wake up and my mind is still lingering in dreams from the night before. In these fleeting moments there is no fear, there is only wonder and limitless imagination. Teetering between these two conflicting worlds acts as a reminder of who I am and what it is I am supposed to do. In these images, I bring together reality and dreams to connect with my viewers and poke the unconscious bear.
Combining elements from the everyday world with hand crafted creatures in a way that does not truly exist, brings forth the surrealist nature one might experience in the in-between planes. Through photography, mixed media and digital manipulation, this work represents the line we walk between both worlds trying to find our place to belong.
