wa (Series)
DESCRIPTION
The main point that glues japanese society is to keep “wa”(harmony). In order to achieve that aim Japanese people show outside not what they really think or desire (“hon ne”) but what they are supposed to show (“tatemae”).
I was amazed by this concept, so I tried to reflect this through streets photographs where the reflections and dark silhouettes are the subject, in a metaphor about what it's seen and what actually is.
