Onboard an ice-strengthened vessel sailing through Weddell Sea in attempt to look for emperor penguin in mid-November 2017, we were extremely lucky with the weather to reach population of approximately 4,000 breeding pairs of emperor penguins - the northernmost breeding colony in Snow Hill Island Antarctica which was first sighted in 1997.
