AUTHOR
n 2017 DTLA Life Magazine described Andrew Eyler's work as " a roadmap to a forgotten world..... coaxing to the surface... the forms and faces buried in our... collective psychic memory." Inspired by his experience as a child counselor and belief in the Vedanta,* Andrew's six foot aluminum impressions represent ""Atma" (the eternal unborn soul) in its search for light." His signature impression "Hati's Trail," he believes, best illustrates this "roadmap"; although, its meaning and relevance however, is best left for Andrew to explain.
After first receiving recognition for his project on mirrored images at OCC School of Photography, Andrew's photographs have been published in the International Library of Photography, Photographer's Forum Magazine and Saddleback Valley News. His work, currently on exhibit at Gloria Delson Contemporary Arts in Los Angeles, honors those who have endured and spoken out against sexual abuse and domestic violence, the proceeds, of which, will be donated to the Brain and Behavioral Research Foundation, a charitable organization that awards grants for the discovery of new and improved treatments for mental illness, For more on Andrew Eyler visit his website: www.travelingsun.com
