DESCRIPTION
REFLECTIONS
The light of the sun and the moon and their reflections on the surfaces of the sea bear aesthetic dimensions.
Selectively, i extract hidden phenomena out of it and lead them towards visuality.
The emerging pictures of the serie are remindful of archetypical landscapes. Furthermore they depict photography as a machine of wish and marvel, too.
"Reflections" explores the frontier area of the medium. It is there, where the image as a mirrow of reality merges to the non-representational.
