Snow groomer (Single)
DESCRIPTION
odays snow groomer are navigated by GPS, therefore, I thought, they should trace a perfect pattern ... best observed at nighttime. So I decided to try a medium format 500mm on BW film 1,5 hour long exposure of a part of a skiing slope at the famous Hochkoenig to make the pattern visible. I framed the shot during daytime, because at night everything in the frame was pitch black. My hope was that the lightraces and the dark forest would perform a high contrast, with the snow giving the traces a combining stage to glow on.
