The Glassless Viewer (Single)
DESCRIPTION
The Glassless Viewer is my brand-image since the very beginning. I shot it when I was just starting my 1 year photography course, and since then I'm using it on my website, social networks, cards, fairs, etc. I never changed it. Suddenly in my first classes, I realised a photograph was the result of our conception, commitment and will. I also started to look differently at things arround me. Things I used to see every day, but never really payed attention. So there was this weird building with its peculiar roof, and I decided to start questioning things, meet people, and finally got permission to go up there. At that time I was still working in an office, so one day I planned to get out earlier, I took the "tree" with me and went all the way up to the roof. I had to clean it, remove several things and after about 3 hours I was done. Coincidentally my main business now is architecture and interiors photography. At that time I didn't know one day I was going to completely change my life with photography.
AUTHOR
My taste for photography began around the age of 14 in Macau, when I remembered that my father had a camera. I was essentially looking for shapes and patterns that caught my eye. I did not bother to tell a story or portray events. At that time I participated in some local photography contests, where I got 2 distinctions.

Nowadays as a professional photographer, I naturally have other knowledge and vision. My camera is basically polychromatic, looking for simplicity, clarity and entropy. I appreciate the dark and the black, but I'm not the biggest fan of the monochrome image. However, I do not discard it from my work, when it's appropriate.

I am Portuguese, licensed, I love what I do and I exercise this profession with ethics and commitment. When I have some time I love to walk with my camera and make a different type of photography: - Free, creative and for fun!
