Noise protection walls along highways are an element of infrastructure architecture. But the impression they create when looked at from the outside is a multifaceted one: Landscape art installations, walls that hide the reason for their mere existence, barriers to our horizon that make us reflect about what walls do to our thinking, sculptures that can be photographed like pieces of art.
