Seasons is a personal project born from the wish of creating images using mixed art forms and explore new visual possibilities for photography.
In this series I collaborated with concept artists. Mixing photography, fashion and illustration, I gave birth to hybrid images filled with daydreams.
Inspired by science-fiction cinema and video game’s aesthetic I buildt an imaginary world around fashion clothes.
The series is like a mystical journey from one universe to another. There is no real beginning nor end. It’s a circle, a slow temporal loop that repeats itself tirelessly, like the seasons that pass by and look the same every year. Each image is like a step of this journey.
Established in a mystical atmosphere, each composition invites us to contemplation. Beyond the model, it’s an enigmatic character that faces us. The model becomes a kind of icon, a sacred figure, almost deic. She is impressive, subtle and sometimes disturbing. She embodies the essence of her environment.
It its animated version, the series takes all its consistency.
