Metamorphosis, the life cycle of a butterfly, reminds me to embody the change, to have the ability to accept for who we are and spread the wings to see the beauty of the world from wider perspective.

A lot is expected from us in this society. More emphasis is on performances and targets. We aim for perfection which is an illusion that keeps us caught in a never-ending cycle of unhappiness and disappointment.

Sometimes we realize the truth, perfection doesn’t exist. Withdrawn from the demanding world, reflecting on ourselves and finding out that change is needed to achieve self-compassion.

I see and believe in the beauty and strength of vulnerability. To be vulnerable, the ability to be open, is the secret to connection.

Revealing myself through images and showing my true emotions, enables me to connect with the viewer. I want to inspire and invite them to see, what I see.

Making images is the way to express my feelings. I followed my heart, I decided to leave the businessworld for photography.

Stillness, serenity and vulnerability are recurring themes in my images.
