Fine Art nominee

Ana D.Lombard and myself work as a duo. Our artistic scenery puts on display a dramatic, almost theatrical atmosphere. We associate bright colours with dark and shadowy hues letting the subject in question stand in the spotlight. We found after multiple hours of shooting and observing each subject matter that it is with the spin that we best managed to capture and freeze a small powerful moment of moving energy, when it becomes abstract and lets imagination see the infinite possibilities.Small things may have a big impact on what can be, for it is a fact that today we still take all living for granted, but unfortunately there are no do-overs. We hope these portraits are not soon of the dying past but of the energetic and beautiful future.

Ana (b.1974) has a BA in graphic design, from the Arte Ac Institute, Monterrey, Mexico.
Noora (b.1979) has a BFA from Parsons school of art and Design, Paris, France.
